Welcome to our first digital workshop for anarchist educators on zine-making!
In collaboration with Gata Negra, we’ll learn how to create zines as educational tools. In this workshop, based on various classical children’s books about anarchy, we will learn how to make a zine focused on anarchy for educators.
The workshop is open for individuals and it is also fine to come as a group. However you wish to come, this is a great way to meet other anarchist educators and create an easy zine that can be used in your learning spaces. This is just a try-out, and we are excited to learn how to do this kind of event with all of you.
No previous knowledge is required, curiosity and interest is enough! Not sure if you are enough of an educator for this workshop? You are! We would love to see you with us, whatever your experience is.
The format of the workshop will be a short presentation by Gata Negra, highlighting the most important components and the process of creation. During the rest of the workshop, we’ll be working in breakout rooms in your self-chosen groups trying out various zine making processes.
